havin seen fsmb[Fuhua Sec Military Band] durin their syf on tue made mi kinda reminisced the days when i was stil part of fsmb, the SL of the saxophone section, part of the fsmb camp 2003 plannin committee.. the ups and downs tt all of us had gone thru, outsiders couldnt imagine.
i missed the times when munshee, jasmine, yanhong, wenyi and i would rot at the old kfc after band and crapped. i missed havin sectionals where we would laughed and at the same time be serious. i missed the way wenyi played her flute. i missed the times when we would unanimously laugh at joe. i missed laughin wif joe. i missed the time when we got our band uniform for the 1st time.
i missed the end of every band practices when i would say goodbye to my dear. i missed seein ms tan joked and made us laughed. i missed seein ms lai gettin pissed off over trivial, puny stuff. i missed the time when mrs tay lectured mi for being late for band. i missed the combined performance between fuhua and tanglin. i missed the scoldings ms tan gave. i missed the strenuous footdrills we had conducted by joe and randy. and not to forget the scoldings tt accompanied wif it.
i missed the afternoons where mi, sinying, wenyi and joe would meet up at the mac near my hse to discuss the band camp proposals. i missed the process of plannin the camp wif my fellow bandmates. i missed the times when our proposals got rejected and we had to alter it over billions times to satisfy ms lai. i missed the 3-day-2-nite camp in sch when all of us let loose and enjoyed. i missed the 2 nites durin camp when we gals gathered together after lights-out for ghost stories.
i missed the woes and heals we shared, i missed all the instructors tt ever stepped into our band, i missed the journey we'd walked thru. and most of all, i missed the band! thanks for contributin a memorable chapter in my sec sch life. 3 cheers for fsmb!
